Power of Meat: A Design that Combines Grilled Delights and Volcanic Power

A Unique Concept that Sparks the Senses

One of the standout features of the Power of Meat design is the clever incorporation of the Chinese character for "meat" (肉) as a partition wall elevation. This simplified representation extends to the lightning-shaped seating area, creating a dynamic visual link to the next space highlight: the self-service bar. The spatial arrangement is carefully crafted to evoke the sensation of a large piece of meat being cut through by lightning, creating a rhythmic and energetic atmosphere. The meat pieces themselves are crafted using wooden texture materials and golden panels, further enhancing the brand's unique tone.

The realization of the Power of Meat design is a testament to the skill and craftsmanship of the design team. Carpenter work, cast iron baking enamel, vinyl tile, and decorative lighting all come together to create a space that is not only visually stunning but also functional and practical. The seating area spans over 392 square meters, while the kitchen, toilet, and other areas are thoughtfully designed to maximize efficiency and comfort.

Located in the vibrant Ximending business district in Taipei, the Power of Meat Ximen Emei Branch is the first all-you-can-eat BBQ restaurant of the Wowprime Corporation. This strategic location ensures that the restaurant is at the heart of the action, attracting both locals and tourists alike. The design project, which began in December 2020 and was completed in March 2021, faced its fair share of challenges. The narrow entrance of the building required creative thinking, resulting in a 45-degree rotation of the entrance and guest receiving counter. This simple yet effective solution not only increased the visual spaciousness of the entering area but also created a seamless transition to the brand spirit wall.

The Power of Meat design has been recognized for its ingenuity and creativity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious accolade is a testament to the design's ability to authentically capture the essence of the brand while incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology.
